Put the shaft on started driving down the road 20 miles down the road shaft came totally out of the gearbox. Jeep ran into the ditch with no steering airbags came out. This is a very faulty product. Dangerous. Almost got in head on collision please read other reviews. Also you will see this is not a proper fit for a 2016 or eight jeep Wrangler.

Had to return it. Upper U joint was set to a different position than the original. No matter how I worked at it, the steering wheel was off by at least 90 degrees in the end. Nowhere near enough adjustment available in the adjustment sleeve to overcome that.

the u joints are tight but the slip joint has way to much play, it will make a sound every time you turn the wheel n have big dead spot. my 15 year old part has less play in it.
