I started carping in June of 23....I bought this package to get me started ( on a budget )....It does what it's supposed to do...pretty happy with it...yes the pod is rather cheaply made but until it gets destroyed somehow, it's a keeper! A lot of carpers frown on cheap alarms...these alarms have worked flawlessly so far....the prestige of pricey, high end tackle isn't practical for everyone.

It arrived broke but was able to fix with duct tape other than being broke it’s a solid product

This carp pod is very versatile and steady. The best part is alarm used 9 volt battery and last much longer than the competitors. The legs is adjustable therefore I used the higher angle for trout fishing without alarm, lower angle for carp and catfishing. I like it so much I bought 2 of these carp pod
