These are plastic and flimsy. I am using them since I have them but usually wire and metal aren’t ’flexible’ like plastic is. I have other real metal ones that don’t flex or bend like these do. Hopefully the rabbits don’t chew through this and eat my new perennials.

The wire is very thin, very easily bent and does not hold up to any pressure at all. Reminds me of plastic coated twist ties.

I bought these to mark my hydrangea during construction on our road & sidewalk. I was able to put 8 of them together fairly easily. I used three zip ties each & two ground stakes per & still had some left over.Only reason 4 stars instead of 5 is they seem a little pricey. But what isn't these days?

Very happy with these panels. I bought an "8" pack, with the premise being each has 4 sides, so I have 32 panels. I used 3 to make a taller triangle to protect some new seedling shrubs (as another reviewer mentioned), but I also used 2 flipped on their long edge to make a circular cage to prevent rabbit damage to new wildflowers. They are flimsy, but I expected that. They're chicken wire quality as a comparison. I used to buy rolls of chicken wire and spend hours cutting my own strips for fencing, this was WAY easier and only slightly more expensive. The tape measure in my picture is showing the 16 inch tile to give some spatial awareness for the 2 cages.

The painted wire panels can be useful for people who want to quickly create protective barriers for outdoor plants. Plastic cable ties are provided to securely join the panels at the corners. However, the included 3" long, 1/16" diameter wire "stakes" are inadequate for anchoring the panels to the ground. The panels are strong enough to stop rabbits from nibbling on your plants, but at the time of this writing, they're a poor value. For less than the price of these eight 20" x 12" painted wire panels, you can buy a 300" x 24" roll of 16 gauge galvanized welded wire fencing. The welded wire fencing will be just as strong, and because it's galvanized it should last longer before rusting. Its only disadvantage is that you need to cut it to the lengths you want, using a pair of tin snips. This is easy to do. -And provide your own ties for the corners.*2/20/2024 edit: I should have counted more carefully. There are 32 panels, not eight! -Which means there are enough panels to make 8 cages, using 4 panels per cage. If you want to make smaller cages for small plants, you can easily bend the panels and use just 2 panels per cage. This will give you 16 small cages. I've added 1 star. I still think the lightweight, non-galvanized panels are priced too high, and they should come with more useful stakes.

I put these cages around all of my perennials this year as they were young. We've had tremendous amounts of snow and I have no doubt that without them, their tender limbs would have broken. They've worked perfectly for me.
