1. Plug the extender into a power outlet near the router. Wait for about 20 seconds until the repeater's on indicator light blinks slowly;
2. Go to your phone's WiFi connection page and select "wifi-XXX" to connect. (If you cannot find the name of the WIFI-XXX, it is recommended to turn on your phone's airplane mode and then turn off the airplane mode). ;
3. Connect to "wifi-XXX" and then jump directly to the browser page to set the WIFI information of the repeater, Login Password:admin,then connect your wifi router name and enter the password(Note:password cant used ""）,set your extender SSID and password,note that the password of the repeater set inside needs to be the same as the WIFI password of the router!!! Click:start connect,wait 30-60s ,set successfully ,EXTENDER light on
Frequently asked questions
1、Q: Mobile phone settings or computer settings?
A: Mobile phone or computer can be set. Recommend cell phone setting, more convenient and fast.
2. Q: Can't find the wifi name of the repeater?
A：Press and hold the RESET button for 5 seconds on the side of the repeater using the card pin included in the box, then open the airplane mode on your phone and then close it, and search the network again.
3. Q: Why didn't it jump to the repeater setting page?
A: First, make sure the cell phone (or computer) is connected to the "wifi-XXX" WIFI, if it is not automatically jumped to the settings page, manually enter 192.168.11.1 to enter the settings.
4. Q: Why is there still no network for the repeater after the setup is completed?
A: Check whether the WIFI password set by the repeater is the same as the WIFI password of the superior router, this must be consistent.

Honestly this was so useless. Boosts the signal at like.. 30 mbs? Can't do anything with that speed.

This seems to top out at 15mbs, which is no help to me. It certainly works and wasn’t that hard to set up but I can’t really use it.

I have a smart tv under my pergola, which is approximately50-75 feet away from my house. This tv has been connected to my home wifi and usually maintains the connection. However, sometimes it drops the connection. So, I thought the extender would solve that problem. But, after a few hours connected to the new wifi, I lost connection and couldn't get it back. The same problem occurred over the next few days, so I've gone back to using my basic wifi connection. I may have done something wrong with the setup, but I don't think so.

I bought this because my video streaming was super slow with my router alone. It has definitely improved streaming speed with way fewer stops and skips in videos, but I think the connection is faulty because I still have to unplug and restart it a couple times a week. I do wish someone would tell me how to change the password because once I set it up, I could not figure out how to change it. Other than those issues, it does what it says it will and is good value for the money.

Well, I really do not know how it’s going to work because when I read the instructions before I ordered it, they said 30 second installation. I get it home and there is a direction sheet numbered one through 16. I have to do something about an SS ID number. I kind of know what that is but I do don’t know where I’m supposed to put it my DSL my extender my phone my whatever I don’t know and it says once you’ve started this procedure you cannot get on the Internet so I have to find someone who knows where I’m supposed to put this SS ID number so I’ve had it for three days and it’s sitting on the table beside me. I’ve had two extenders before and at least one of them is the product that I have now and all I did was plug it in next to the DSL and I swear to God, I can’t think of the name of the other product, and if the light turn green, then move to the next outlet, if it’s still green, go to the next one, and then, when it stopped being green, that is as far as the signal was going to go, and it was perfect because that’s where I needed it but now I don’t know because the 30 second installation is way over. I assume all you computer freaks out there are laughing your asses off because you know exactly what I’m missing so as soon as I find a five-year-old who can tell me where I’m supposed to put the SS ID number then I’ll be in business so I can’t tell you whether it works or not. You can probably do the 30 second thing and then laugh at me later.

It gives no issues and it was easy to set up. The instructions were too small of letters. Once I could see them ,it was easy. It is much better than before
