So fast it working but WiFi and Bluetooth is signals so weak, I need to add my own Bluetooth dongle and use lan for Internet and headphones. Also board didn't support win 7 install.

I researched many motherboards to upgrade my computer to windows 11. As you may or may not be aware, the CPU and Motherboard must support the trusted Platform (TPM2.0). This motherboard does this. What is great about this motherboard is that it uses the Z690 chip set used for gaming and provides excellent feature set at an excellent price. I used the gen 13 CPU (LGA1700) which is also very affordable and makes the combination a low-cost solution. The performance is of the set is extremely high performing. The Motherboard automatically is set up to enable the TPM2.0 so no setup is required in the BIOS. Windows 11 loads and runs perfectly with little intervention by the USER. This works so well that I actually bought a second one to setup two desktops. The next time I assemble another computer for someone, I would buy and use the same Motherboard with similar CPU. I Highly recommend this Motherboard for a desktop. A desktop builder will not be disappointed.

I purchased this motherboard looking at a modest budget for a build to replace my previous Z390 + i7-9700K. That motherboard only lasted 3 years, but I thought it was a fluke and decided to go with Gigabyte again. Granted, because it was a cheap purchase, this Z790 motherboard is not as robust as the other offerings that Gigabyte have, generally $200-$400 in range (you get what you pay for). Some of the connections could have been better placed or with more quality parts, so your mileage will vary. It's definitely not an ROG level of quality. The one annoying issue is the placement of the PCI-E and the M2 slot - they're too close together, which presents challenges when mounting a full sized GPU card. The other concern is that the PCH temp on this board sits squarely at 50c on idle - when everywhere else on the motherboard is lower than 38c. This could just be faulty manufacturing or something that is particular to Gigabyte motherboards, but I am no expert. The only thing I can do is RMA if the PCH becomes a liability under load, but unfortunately, summer is too far away to test that. If this one prematurely dies, I'm looking at another brand, like ASRock.

I was looking for a new motherboard for my i5-14600k and found this, affordable Z790 board with plenty of features on it, not the biggest fan of GIGABYTE's bios software but from what I've heard and seen over the years it's improving. I recommend it if you are in the market for a quality Z790 board.

Motherboard supplies good benefits of Z board with a B board price , even tho it has 8 VRM's ( can only run i7 at the max ) it has 1 cpu lane so 336W is your max , so good motherboard if you want a K processor but don't want to overclock / use intel core i9 with it
