The circuit board in my 2019 Ram fob did not fit into this new case. Maybe there are instructions for modifications online someplace. The rubber keypad on my original fob case had disintegrated. I was able to us the rubber keypad from the new fob with my old fob case.

This fob was slightly different from the original from my 2018 Ram 1500. On mine, the battery is installed directly on the electronic transmitter. This key fob had a place for the battery on the plastic housing. also, the rubber piece that contains the buttons was shaped slightly differently. So I wasn't able to simply move the transmitter from my key to the new one. I was, however, able to use the rubber piece, and put it in my existing key housing, to solve my issue.

The hard plastic housing of this fob was badly warped and would not click together. I used its rubber keypad in my old fob and it worked fine.
