This is a solid motherboard that I got refurbished on the cheap. I love refurbished tech as it's always like a brand new item for much less.This motherboard has BCLK OC, is stable when a 13600kf is OCd but you'll probably want an AIO 360 for temps, handles XMP perfectly and I can't find anything wrong with it. My CPU idle power consumption is much less than a Gigabyte AC DDR5 Z790 motherboard I used prior. The Gigabyte idled at 20w for some reason but the same settings when using the MSI gave me a nice 5-8w idle on average. That's incredible for a fast higher TDP 13600kf CPU, so I'm very satisfied. I would highly recommend this to anybody needing a new motherboard. DDR4 isn't an issue since there's not a huge difference when using P/E CPUs in real world applications. The only real benefit to DDR5 might be the iGPU by a bit or AI apps that are using CPU with memory instead of a dGPU using VRAM, but even with DDR4 the iGPU would work perfect for something like JellyFin or Handbrake and you will only really notice the difference when using synthetic benchmarking software. Plus, gaming isn't ever recommended when using the UHD 770 regardless of memory type. Most users don't need DDR5 with 12th-14th gen CPUs since AI software primarily uses dGPU cores and memory to get the task done. Gaming doesn't yield good improvements when using DDR5 either. Average users of AI probably won't be using CPU based AI since it's much slower even when using DDR5 and requires an expensive amount of memory so it doesn't use the page/swap file/partition. DDR5 is best for the newer Core Ultra CPUs due to better iGPUs and being quite different, so if you want to save some $$$ then this motherboard will definitely help accomplish that while not sacrificing performance. The WiFi module is fast and I can easily use all of my 400mbps internet speed. It can handle over gigabit speeds too and my local transfers are very fast. Even faster than my Ethernet connections.Also take note, after flashing to a newer BIOS in 2025 the BCLK feature is still there. This is great! Some vendors removed this feature when people updated their BIOS so I'm glad MSI kept it with this board in case I needed it. Many Z790 motherboards don't even have this feature from what I've seen.Keep it up MSI!!

Das Board ist für mich der klare Preis/Leistungs-Sieger für Alder-Lake Prozessoren. Es fehlt nichts: WIFI, Bluetooth, schnelles LAN bei Bedarf. Den Ausschlag zum Kauf haben bei dir die 2*8 Pin CPU Anschlüsse (in Kombination mit dem Chipsatz ergibt das Übertaktungsfreiheit ohne Ende) und das 14+1+1 Powerdesign, was in der Preisklasse sonst eher nicht zu finden ist. Einbau war einfach, genug USB Anschlüsse dran, die Software von MSI ist auch okay. Einstellmöglichekiten im Bios begrenzt aber die essentiellen DInge sind drin, insofern: Würde ich wieder kaufen. Vor Allem für den Preis bei der Leistung.

At first, I was worried that the BIOS firmware was not updated because I already had a 13th gen Intel Chip. But, to my surprise, the BIOS was updated to the latest firmware out of the box so building my new PC was a breeze! If the BIOS wasn't updated, I would have had to borrow a 12th gen Intel Chip just to update the firmware.
