3 STRAIGHTEDGES IN 1: Our patent pending 3 'n 1 design sets a new higher standard for what you should expect when buying a notched straightedge. Our 2 Tri-Beam custom notched straightedges cover most all electric and acoustic guitars such as Gibson, Fender and PRS. Plus, on the 3rd Tri-Beam, you get a 17.6" (44.7cm) "notch-free" straightedge. No other product has 3 straightedges in 1 plus the breadth of guitars the notched straightedge works on.
PERFECTION BUILT INTO THE DESIGN WITH LONGER LENGTH AND NOTCHES THAT COVER MORE GUITARS: Check the flatness of your fretboard to assist in fretwork with our notches that cover 17.6" of the fretboard and touch the fretboard between 22 fret slots which is more than most other products on the market. You can also use it to measure neck relief to see if you need to adjust the truss rod.
Custom notch design is like no other specification and works for most electric and acoustic guitars. F-25.5 fits all 25.34" to 25.625" fret scale lengths. G-24.75/P-25 fits all guitars with fret scale lengths ranging from 24.625" to 25".
17.6" Precision Flat ("notch-free") Straightedge: Lay on top of the frets to check their flatness and assist in fretwork. All 3 straightedges are precision ground to ensure smooth flat edges within an accuracy tolerance of +/-.00125"/ft.

I should have bought this a long time ago! I own several guitars and basses and do my own work and set ups. This is a very well made and valuable tool. It works on many different guitar scales and has on side as a plain straight edge if needed. If you do your own set ups, get this!

I tried other tools to straighten my neck. They all had issues. This is the only one that helped fix the issue with my Jackson. If you like working on your own guitars to get them set up properly yourself, the spend a little more and get this one. You will buy it one and you will use it for life

I like the sturdiness and that it can be used for multiple scale lengths. I find it not easy to determine neck relief by eye though, but I suspect that would be the case with similar tools. Using in conjunction with feeler gauges may add more accurate results...

For those do it yourselfers... this is great. Instantly shows the shape of your neck. I have 7 guitars and it works perfect on them all and is a life saver when setting up the intonation.
