Much easier than "helping hands" to hold connectors while soldering.

It is just a terminal holder jig, nothing special to mention.

This tool works perfectly! Holds many different types of connectors so you don’t have to. Allows much easier solder jobs.

Great little jig. I had been really struggling with getting successful soldered joints on XT90 connectors. The XT90 and XT60 had highlighted my poor soldering skills. I was using my Panavise to hold the connectors, but was overheating the connector pins and even having the pins move or completely drop out of the connector. This little jig has help tremendously as it holds the connector and appears to distribute the heat. I still had the problem of the jig sliding around on my workbench, so I made a extra jig to hold the ShareGoo jig. It's just a couple of pieces of 3/4" plywood, with a couple of dowels, but it allows me to clamp my jig to the workbench and the soldering jig stays rock solid. My soldering skills probably still suck, but I am now getting perfect soldered joints every time. I hope the photos help.

Update:I contacted the seller and received very very good customer service. They responded quickly and were very fast to replace the jig with a new one. The XT slots in the replacement are resized and fit and hold the connector perfectly. I am very happy with the purchase and the customer service.Original:It holds the half with the female connectors fine, but it's too big for the half with the male connectors.I could, I suppose, add some tape or something - but if I did that, I suppose I could also just tape the connector to something instead of using the jig.I've contacted the seller to see if there's an updated version or something. Otherwise it'll go back.
