I have this in a 5 gallon tank for dwarf shrimp and guppies. It's been in use since the beginning of November and still doing great. I have a digital thermometer and each time I check the temperature myself, it is within less than 1 degree of the built in thermostat on this heater, which is awesome! It's a great size for a smaller tank, and is easy to move. It has a nice long cord as well. I think the current asking price of around $20 is a little steep, as you can buy them for less. I've used a lot of aquarium heaters over the years and this one is right in there with all the others. No complaints at all.

This little heater keeps my 10 gallon heated at the temp I want it to be. I have been using it for a couple months and its still working great. Has a nice easy to read display and set up. Perfect for smaller tanks.

I ended up having to switch this one out for another with a cover, my fish kept resting on this one and I was worried about a burn since it gets quite hot. It was easy to set the temperature and I didn't have any issues with it maintaining accurately but a cover is a simple way to help avoid injury.

Compact heater that won't take up much space in your tank. Heats my tank within a degree or two of the selected temp. The extra temperature probe seems to help I don't weird errors with my last heater similar to this one. This heater can also be set at a low of 59 degrees which is a big plus for me. I keep some fish that are ok with cooler temps and I don't want to run up my electricity bill.

I originally purchased this as a backup heater for my aquarium, and after testing it out, it became the primary heater. Out of the box, the heater is pretty much ready to go, you just slap the suction cups on, stick it on the glass and plug it in. Temperature is very easy to set with the digital display. One color light is for active heating mode and the other is to show that the water has reached it’s set temperature. This little heater functions as well as heaters two times its size. I tested the accuracy of the temperature sensor on the heater with three other thermometers. All of them within acceptable range (see pictures).
