The fact that I was able to find a key fob case to replace the original for a much loved 2007 Lexus RX 350 hybrid was amazing! The fact that it worked perfectly was even better! I am not mechanically inclined and a friend, who is, easily replaced it. Lexus wanted hundreds of dollars for a new key. All I needed was this very inexpensive and well made item.

It was NOT a completely perfect fit and a little tight, which I'd ding 1/2 point, but overall still rounded up to a 5 stars.

The shape isn’t perfect. The two halves don’t sit quite tight together on key end but screw holds it together.

The key is to long and stick out from ignition about 1" (inch). The shell case doesn't close completely , so you can see the some opening on the sim.Car that I use for is 1998 Lexus GS300.Definitely, the fob that i bought through your Amazon website isn't compatible with this vehicle.It would be much cheaper for me if I bought it through person who cut and program this key.The seller should refund me money back , because it took me a lot of time to find someone to find issue and I had to purchase new fob because, your fob we couldn't program it. Simply it isn't compatible with my car.

Had read the reviews and was concerned the clamshell would not fit tight. After spending a little time disassembling the old shell and carefully inlaying the FOB,?it snugly clicked shut. Secured it with the screw provided. Tried it out on the vehicle and it works as good as new. Biggest issue was placing the key in its holder collar. Was very tight and ended up using WD30 to help slide through. Was the biggest challenge. Advice. Look at the old case piece by piece to duplicate assembly. Now I hope it will not break. Feels sturdy enough. So far very happy! Compared to the dealership price this is a ‘no brainer’.
