事の発端はRME FireFace800を入手した事からでした。古いPCのマザボについてるIEEE1394はVIA社チップが搭載されていて、FF800が認識すらしませんでした。別PCではBSODが頻発。StarTech社さんの別IEEE1394ボードで相性問題を解消されている海外の方がいてその商品のチップの感じが当商品に似ていました。ちょっとした賭けでしたが、こちらの商品1394b(800)接続＋Win10ドライバにて動作しました。またディスクトップでの利用はPCIExの下駄が必要です。(基板コネクタはMiniPCIe規格です。近年搭載されているNVMe端子に挿して動くかは知らん)WiFi用の下駄が使える場合がありますが、ハーフサイズ用のネジ柱が存在すると基板の部品に干渉します。…なんでわざわざディスクトップでって？①HTPCの為ロープロファイルが必要だったから！ ②価格が２千円台だったから！

be careful on some motherboards: half-size plot sometimes touch full size minipciE board . Had to screw mine with an angle to prevent short circuit
