This has exceeded my expectations, made soldering soooooo much easier, used to make custom speaker crossovers, fantastic results! The wet sponge tip cleaner along with the steel Brillo were great for keeping the soldering tip clean and ready, heats up super fast, the solder in the spool was convenient. Highly recommended!

I got this soldering iron to allow me to wire up circuits and small motors. At a fraction of the price of more well known soldering iron brands, this iron is fantastic! It heats up crazy fast - from hitting the power button to sitting down, it was already up to 750 degrees. This iron works great at fusing together circuit components, and I was able to tin my 16 AWG wire pretty well. The accessories and tip set was also great, and make a fantastic collection to my tool set. Overall, I think this iron is a great deal!

The plastic case for the iron itself comes apart and will not stay together, especially when hot. This renders the whole unit useless as the iron is not replaceable. I fiddled and tried to repair but I should have returned as this showed itself pretty well right away. It worked ok for a bit but poor quality iron assembly. I'm going to look at a Weller or Hakko.

I have been using this primarily for soldering guitar electronics, and it's served me well - it provides everything you need to get going, accurate temperature readings, variety of tips, sponge and tip cleaner, "solder sucker", and tweezers. I've been having great success with it.After a few months of use I did have an issue where the tips were not being held securely - perhaps an issue with the sleeve, I'm not sure. But I contacted customer service and they were extremely helpful and fast acting - they sent me a new unit that was on my doorstep in a matter of days, and it functions perfectly. It was above and beyond what I was expecting and was really impressed that they would go to such lengths to ensure my satisfaction.The combination of good functioning unit, great value, and great customer service, make this an easy product to recommend.

I am brand new to this. I bought solder with a specific temperature range. I had to increase the stated temperature by quite a lot before the solder would flow. Power cord could be a bit longer. The solder vacuum included either does not work or I'm just clueless (probably the later).The machine is ergonomic. The barrel is metal lined so you can safely rest a hot iron. I found the solder spool dispensing mechanism useless.This is no luxury vehicle of tools, that's very clear. But I think that the price is fair and reflects what you're going to get.Overall I'm happy with the purchase. I didn't spend a lot and if I make this a hobby, I have this to compare a better unit to.

Ich hatte vorher mehrere Lötstationen unter 50€ ausprobiert: ALLE komplett untauglich! Entweder gar kein Aufheizen (!) oder viel zu wenig Hitze an der Spitze... Dazwischen einen Einzellötkolben mit mechanisch-elektrischen Sicherheitsproblemen. 🤨Das ist jetzt die erste, die einfach funktioniert!

Heats up fast. Very hot if needed. Convenient to clean and rest the tips. I dont use the sponge only the brass ball. The wet sponge cools the tip. And the original brass ball and tips are very low quality so I got a better quality brass ball and tips.

I got this soldering station a few months ago now and I used it for a project and it worked great!but for the first few days after I first received it, I got an error code and that would shut the soldering station down. I turned it off and waited a few minutes and tried again and it worked for an hour or so, then I turned it back on and then the error happened again. it just began happening more and more frequently.I looked it up and it was an error with one of the sensors so I wasn't sure what to do about it, I then decided to contact the seller directly and they were an excellent help! they sent me a brand new one without having to send the broken one back and now I've got my new one and I'm happy with it.but with all that aside, I was quite happy with this unit. It has a simple temperature adjustment knob with a nice little duel digital temperature display. It heats up quickly and maintains the temperature consistently and was great to work with.
