About this item

  • Adjustable Helping Hands Soldering Station: This soldering station is a great help when you need a stationary bracket for soldering, repairs or crafts. 4 adjustable gooseneck arms can be adjusted at will and not easy to rebound, so it will make your work easier, smarter and more efficient.
  • 3X Magnifying Glass: The soldering station comes with a 3x magnifying glass to help you magnify tiny components, and it's position can be flexibly adjusted, which will improve your work efficiency and soldering precision. You'll never be stuck with tiny parts again!
  • Better Protection for PCB Boards: Alligator clips with rubber protectors not only hold PCBs and precision parts securely, but also prevent them from being scratched compared to ordinary alligator clips. This is a good choice for precision instrument repair.
  • Heavy Duty Metal Base and Non-Slip Rubber Feet: Our bases are made of metal and have enough weight to avoid tipping over during welding work. And there are five non-slip rubber feet on the bottom to ensure that it doesn't move and tip over while working.
  • Wide Range of Applications: Our Helping hands soldering station is designed for individuals who need to work in close quarters for long periods of continuous work or to assist with maintenance. Ideal tool for repair, model making, jewellery making and handcrafts, it will make your job easier, more relaxing and efficient.

Waste of money and regret not reading reviews before hand. All hardware was included, but 3 out of the 5 screws do not secure arms, so I basically paid just to throw the into the garbage. Do your research and buy ANYTHING other than this.

Awesome but one of the feet were missing. I 3D printed one easy peasy and it is cool now

the screws dont hold all too well, had to not use the arm with the lens to have 3 functionning arms to hold boards but even then they are loose, spend a little more and buy something better

Magnifier edge was not sanded smooth, very rough, got a cut on it. I used a Dremel tool to smooth the edge.

I’ve been using this helping hand station for a little while, and it’s working great for me. It comes with 4 hands, as well as 1 magnifying glass, which is good. It’s also made entirely of metal, and is pretty durable if you drop it.Here’s what I like bout this soldering iron station:-It holds things well-It has a removeable plate (in case solder rolls off whatever you’re soldering)-The magnifying glass works pretty well-It’s pretty adjustable-It’s all metal (with the exception of the feet, which are rubber for grip)-the alligator clips come with heat shrink already on them-arms were pre-assembled-decent price-Looks “professional”-Feels well madeHere’s what I don’t like about this soldering iron station:-It’s not easy to store away-The arms sometimes make “popping” sounds-I would’ve liked a light with it-Can be a little difficult to put it together.-Can be sort of hard to get arms to stay in place. It doesn’t do extreme angles very well-The rim of the magnifying glass can be sort of sharpThe biggest complaint I have is how big it is. What I mean by this isn’t necessarily width or depth wise, but rather just it’s pure volume. Unless you have a dedicated place to solder things, this can be really hard to store away. I personally have no idea how I’m going to store it.Something else I’d like to mention is that you may want to re-heatshrink the alligator clips. They come heatshrinked already, but if you’re soldering softer boards, there still is a chance that they’ll damage the board.Overall though, I think it does what it intends to do, and that’s enough for me. If you’ve never used helping hands before, I think this is a good place to start, if you want something decently cheap, that has a magnifying glass. It’s currently $33, which I think is a good price.
